Lovely location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, nice and reasonably priced lunchtime food, ideal base for exploring Yorkshire Dales.

The location of the hotel was superb, nestled in a picturesque village surrounded by the beautiful Yorkshire Dales hills. the staff were friendly and the beer was excellent.

The accommodation was in need of updating in some of the rooms, particularly the one we stayed in. It was clean but dated and did not have a TV.

The value for money at Falcon Inn was great - comfortable room, friendly staff, and a picturesque location perfect for exploring the Dales.

The breakfast offerings could have been more flexible in terms of timing.

Located in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, this country pub is a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding scenery. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of towels and some even boast four poster beds. Friendly and helpful staff offer great service, including advice on local attractions. The food is of a high standard, with delicious options like vegetarian pie and excellent scampi. Guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast before starting the day's adventures.

Limited menu choices for dinner.

I stayed at The Falcon Inn for a solo hiking trip and had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome, even chatting with locals. The breakfast was delicious and they cooked anything I asked for. The recently refurbished hotel had a beautiful location and a great atmosphere. The pub food was basic but tasty, and there was plenty of it. The WiFi worked well and the rooms were comfortable. a fantastic stay and I will definitely be returning.

As backpackers, we loved the charming character of the Inn and the friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable and the view from the deluxe king room was fabulous. The lounge area with a fireplace was a nice place to relax after dinner. The food, especially the steak & mushroom suet pudding, was delicious. We also enjoyed the unique decor throughout the Inn. a great experience for backpackers looking for a taste of Yorkshire.

Despite the lack of en-suite bathrooms, the facilities were clean and well-maintained. we had a delightful experience and would recommend this inn for a unique and memorable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming pub. The location was perfect for walking, with two scenic routes into the village. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The pub had a great atmosphere, with both locals and travelers mingling and creating a friendly environment. Our room was clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and crisp white sheets. The breakfast was delicious and filling, setting us up for the day. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. the pub served excellent food and had a good selection of beers. the location was perfect, with easy access to explore the surrounding area.

The rooms were also found to be unclean, with dead flies and cobwebs. the breakfast timing was inconsistent, causing confusion.

Noisy guests disrupted our sleep.

I recently stayed at The Falcon Inn for two nights and it was absolutely superb. The location is stunning, nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The pub is full of friendly locals and travelers, creating a welcoming and homely atmosphere. The food was excellent, especially the Steak Pudding with mash and gravy. The beer was spot on and the King Size room with a four poster bed offered beautiful views of the green. The staff were extremely accommodating and dogs are treated like VIP guests. I can't recommend this place enough!

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming inn in the Dales. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings. My room had a comfortable four-poster bed and a lovely ensuite shower room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The dinner at the inn was delicious, and as a vegetarian, I was pleased with the tasty vegetarian pie. Breakfast was a real treat, with freshly cooked options. the Falcon Inn provided a warm and authentic experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this genuine local inn. the historic atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious English breakfast made our experience memorable. the inn's location is perfect for walkers and cyclists, with excellent walks and great fishing nearby. the rooms may not be en suite, but the separate toilets and bathrooms were clean and convenient. We especially enjoyed the drive through Littondale, which added to the charm of our stay. And to top it off, the inn is the original Woolpack from Emmerdale, making it a must-visit for fans. We can't wait to return and explore more of the beautiful area on foot.
