Housekeeping seemed to have overlooked the cleanliness of the rooms and corridors during our stay. It would have been preferable if the rooms were cleaned daily, and the corridors properly swept to avoid tracking in mud from the New Forest.

It can be a bit noisy if your room faces the road, so it would be better to request a room away from the road for a more peaceful night's sleep.

Our recent city break was quite wonderful. We stayed in a comfortable room and enjoyed the fantastic breakfast that was on offer. We were thrilled by the location- it was perfect for exploring the surroundings. the staff were friendly and accommodating; they even allowed our pet dog to stay with us. We enjoyed the chill out zone at the back of the garden, which provided a peaceful place to relax.

My only complaint was that the rooms were not soundproofed, which made it difficult to sleep. My sleep was constantly disturbed by the noise from other guests.
