We had a fantastic stay at this inn! Despite being located near a busy road, the separate accommodation provided a peaceful retreat. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The bathroom was also well-maintained and had ample storage space. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. We especially enjoyed the quick drive to Eyemouth for a lovely dinner by the coastline. The facilities, including a microwave and toaster, were an added bonus.

We did experience some issues with the television in our large room, as it was quite small and difficult to see.

had a blast at the christmas party at a lovely inn in eyemouth. exceeded expectations with spacious rooms, great breakfast variety, and friendly staff. perfect base camp for exploring and walking. will definitely be back.

As women traveling alone, we felt safe and comfortable at this inn. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and the separate rooms provided privacy. The pub had a cozy atmosphere with delicious food and even board games to play. Its convenient location on the A1 made it easy to find, and it served as a great starting point for exploring the surrounding area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming little spot near the Scottish-English border. The room was spacious and the bathroom was great. The hosts were incredibly friendly and served us delicious dinner and breakfast. The pub had a warm and friendly atmosphere, making it a perfect place for a party of 8 adults. The food was well-cooked and served in generous portions. The location was also convenient for exploring the surrounding area. it was a fantastic experience for us backpackers.

We stayed overnight on our way home from Aberdeen. The room was very large with a good en suite. Although it was a Monday and the kitchen was officially closed, the landlady made us a cooked meal which was more than adequate. The bed was comfortable and although our room faced the A1 it was not too noisy. Staff were very obliging. Sweeteners included with the tea/coffee facility in the room, and not just sugar!

We had a fantastic stay at this inn. The staff were amazing and provided a warm welcome. They were always willing to help and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The locals were friendly too, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. The food served was of top quality, and we especially loved the steak pie which deserves a 10/10 rating. The inn is conveniently located on the A1, making it easily accessible from Edinburgh and ideal for those traveling between Scotland and England. The breakfast provided was really good, and the room we stayed in was lovely and comfortable.

The television screens in the rooms are small and located too far away to comfortably watch from the bed.

I recently stayed at a charming inn for dinner and overnight. The warm and friendly atmosphere in the pub made it a delightful experience. The delicious food, both for starters and mains, was a highlight. The conservatory where we dined was perfect for our party of 8 adults. The location was also great for starting or ending a tour of the area. The next morning, we enjoyed a tasty Scottish breakfast in the conservatory before heading home. a highly recommended place to stay.
