We had a wonderful and charming stay at this lovely hotel. the room was incredibly comfortable and cosy, making us feel completely at ease. the staff at Greene King Inns were also incredibly kind and friendly, going above and beyond to assist us whenever needed. We especially enjoyed the beautiful setting of the pub, with its open fire adding to the cozy atmosphere. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, and we were pleased with the central position. the room itself was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We appreciated the great selection of teas and coffees, as well as the thoughtful box of bathroom consumables. A fun bonus was attending the quiz night at the pub, where we even managed to come in 4th place!

had a great stay at this lovely pub in bury st edmunds. comfy room with a spacious ensuite. attention to detail was impressive - dimmable lights, roaring wood fire, and beautiful decor. wifi was speedy. landlord was helpful, allowing us early room access. overall, exceeded our expectations for a city break.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The location was also perfect, with the beautiful Abbey Park just across the road.

I would highly recommend this place and definitely plan to visit again.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to resolve any issues. the rooms were clean and spacious, with lovely underfloor heating in the bathrooms.

There were a couple of minor inconveniences that detracted from our overall experience. the lack of a fridge in the room was a bit disappointing.

Lovely stay at The Fox. The room was beautifully decorated with fabulous lighting. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed a stroll around the Abby Gardens, just yards away. I highly recommend this hotel for a short break in town.

Converted hay barn with en suite rooms, vaulted ceilings, and exposed beams. Clean, well-equipped with amenities such as hair dryer, flat screen TV, iron, tea/coffee facilities. Modern en suite with rain shower. Ample parking and satisfying full English breakfast.

the rooms were absolutely amazing, equipped with everything I needed and more. As soon as I arrived, I was impressed and said "Wow! " the staff at the pub, which was located at the back of the rooms, were friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the brunch we had on Sunday - it was the best breakfast I've had in ages and very affordable. I am definitely going back to the Fox for another lovely stay.
