Recently refurbished small hotel in a great town center location. Friendly and eager-to-please staff. Comfortable rooms with fresh and imaginative decor. Excellent food provided at New Year's Eve buffet. Superb ensuite shower with fluffy towels and good toiletries. Convenient car parking directly outside.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the center of town. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The breakfast was really great, and the staff were lovely and welcoming.

Just had a wonderful stay at The George in Axminster. We were there for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The food was exceptional, both for dinner and breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The service we received, especially from Michael, was outstanding. The location is great, and the hotel has recently been refurbished. Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

The George Hotel is perfectly located right in the centre of town, making it a great choice for those wanting to be close to the beautiful Seaton beach. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and lovely duvets and pillows. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. The hotel also offers a delicious and filling breakfast, perfect to start the day before heading to the beach. Plus, the hotel is easily accessible with convenient parking facilities.

The furniture in the rooms could be improved, as some bedside tables were wonky and not level, making it difficult to place a drink on them.

The noise from the busy corner where the hotel is located may bother light sleepers. Some areas of the hotel could use a bit of upgrading as they appear worn-out.

Our stay at George Hotel was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made us feel right at home. We were initially concerned about the parking situation, but we were relieved to find a massive carpark just over the road for a small fee. Despite a couple of minor issues, such as a slightly warm room and occasional noise from adjacent rooms, our overall experience at George Hotel was exceptional.

The bedding was too warm for us, and there was no extra bedding provided in the room. the coffee service was a bit confusing, as we were initially offered instant coffee but later discovered that filter coffee was available.
