The evening meal was delightful and the service prompt when I requested extra toast without hesitation.

Parking was limited and initially misleading, as the staff directed us to a free public lot down the road.

Beautiful design with significant historical charm.

During my stay, I found the front desk frequently unmanned, which made it difficult to get assistance when needed. Additionally, the parking situation was frustrating. I was led to believe there would be sufficient hotel parking, only to discover it was scarce and mostly public. It was particularly inconvenient as a solo traveler to maneuver around the limited parking restrictions in the area.

The food was solid – brekkie was top-notch with proper cooked options. Spotted some lekker character around the spot, and the bar was a nice place for a dop, especially with comfy seating. Definitely a great base for exploring!

Only downside was the spotty parking. Limited spaces meant we had to scout around a bit, but we managed in the end.

Housekeeping left much to be desired!!! Dusty rooms, unclean tables during breakfast, and noticeable noise from kitchen and bar made our stay less enjoyable!!! Parking was also quite limited, causing frustration!!!

Had a fantastic group getaway! The restaurant had great food that everyone enjoyed. The staff was super friendly and helped us with all our needs. I loved the bright, spacious room we had. Don't miss trying the coffee machine in the room. it was a nice touch. Make sure you check the breakfast options. they're really good!

One downside was the noise from a nearby smoking patio that kept us up a bit late. It was a little frustrating since we couldn't get a good night's sleep until they left.

I had a wonderful stay that included a memorable dinner. The full-bodied beer selection was impressive. I enjoyed the spacious dining area that had a contemporary twist. The attentive staff ensured everything went smoothly during my visit. I appreciate the comfortable bed that helped me recharge. One highlight was enjoying a decanter of sherry on a chilly evening, which I found welcoming. Overall, it was a delightful experience.
