During my recent stay at the George Inn, I was impressed by the picturesque countryside views that I enjoyed while having breakfast. The menu choices at the restaurant were excellent, and the staff were incredibly accommodating with all of our requests. The bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated, complete with a big TV and homemade nibbles. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with a large bath. The evening meal and breakfast were both delicious. The inn was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Additionally, I appreciated that they were willing to change our room when we had trouble with the TV channels. The presence of alpacas in the field at the back of the inn added a unique touch. Lastly, the large car park was convenient for guests.

The comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms truly made me feel at home. The exceptional food and impeccable service from the friendly staff made my experience truly outstanding. Although my room was cozy, its location left me feeling slightly exposed to other guests. Additionally, the inconvenience of having to walk through a wet and dirty backyard to access the main building dampened my stay a bit.

I had a fantastic stay at this country inn in a cute village in the Cotswolds. The staff were lovely, attentive, and made my stay welcoming. The hotel facilities were great, especially the terrace where I enjoyed basking in the morning sunshine. The location was convenient for reaching the attractions in the Cotswolds. The food at the hotel was outstanding, with delicious breakfasts and well-cooked, presented, and hot evening meals.

our second stay in barford st michael was even better than the first. george inn never fails to impress. from the stunning garden room to the heavenly eggs benedict, everything was top-notch. the service was excellent, the room was clean and cozy, and the locals were friendly. we'll be back again and again!

No desk or dressing table for work.

We were looking for a cozy place to spend Thanksgiving and we found it! the building was beautiful and the food was top-notch. We also enjoyed the locally brewed beers and found the staff to be young and friendly. the bed was comfortable, and the hand creams were a nice touch. Plus, car parking was very convenient and close by.

It was small and not practical, and the lack of WiFi made things worse. the bathroom was huge, but we would have preferred more space in the bedroom.

I gotta say, the value for money at The George Inn was fantastic! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had a toasty bathroom with a powerful towel heater. And the location. so quiet and relaxing!

The breakfast experience could have been better with more flexibility. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to unforeseen circumstances and we were only given two hours to remove our belongings.

Arriving here was like entering a luxurious haven. the decor was exquisite, with plush furnishings augmenting the ambiance perfectly. the room was equipped with exclusive amenities like a private terrace that afforded stunning views of the surrounding area. the restaurant on-site offered a special diet menu, which was a relief for a fussy foodie like me. the staff was attentive, and I could enjoy my in-room breakfast freshly delivered every morning.

One minor issue I encountered was that the sun terrace was a bit smaller than expected. I feel that there could have been more dining options outside, like an outdoor dining area or picnic tables, to properly enjoy the stunning location.
