Great sized rooms, clean and tidy throughout, with a big bed and bathroom. The staff allowed us to check in late, which was much appreciated. The evening meal was fantastic, particularly the perfectly cooked steak. The bar staff were friendly, and the location was ideal for visiting attractions in the area. The cooked breakfast had a good selection and was enjoyed by all. The hotel is also suitable for those with physical handicaps.

Our room had a stunning view with a lovely wide Kingsize bed. The shower was great and everywhere was clean and well decorated. The hotel building was beautiful, being a converted vicarage. The evening meal and breakfast were both delicious with excellent food. The owners were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home.

I recently stayed at a guesthouse in Selkirk during Christmas and had a great experience. The rooms were well-maintained and spacious, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a range of choices and the dishes were delicious. the on-site parking made it convenient for guests to come and go.

One negative aspect was that the outside door key did not work when we arrived late at night, causing us to have to knock and wake up the manager to let us in. It would have been better if they had checked the keys beforehand to avoid any inconvenience during late arrivals.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great, with beautiful walks and scenery nearby. The staff even provided us with plates and cutlery when we needed them. it was a wonderful experience.

The traditional decor in the rooms and the high ceilings gave it a homely and cozy feel. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, even providing games for us to play in the lounge. The food, especially the perfectly cooked steaks, was delicious, and the breakfast was tasty too. The rooms had comfortable beds and great views from the windows. The hotel was also in a perfect location, close to many attractions and with easy access to the main road.

The hotel is located in a pretty area, close to Aikwood tower for a family wedding. The owners were helpful in recommending places that we could visit in the area. The rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and tasteful decor. The breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. The staff provided excellent service and were friendly. There were games/cards available for entertainment.
