The rooms at Golden Ball were exceptional, with all three beds being real beds, not camp or sofa beds. We were pleasantly surprised to find a separate room for our clothes and cases, and the lounge area was a great bonus. the view from the hotel was also fantastic. the complimentary bottle of beer, wine, biscuits, and nuts upon arrival was a lovely touch. the rooms were clean, the location was lovely, and it was perfect for a stopover before or after catching the ferry to the Isle of Man.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and quickly answered any questions I had online. Plus, the self check-in/out was super convenient.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if there was a fridge to keep milk and other items in.

I was also pleased to find that the hotel was pet-friendly, allowing me to bring my dog along. it was a great experience with spacious rooms and a comfortable layout.

Clean and comfortable room with a lovely layout for small groups. Easy parking right in front and keybox entry. Convenient location close to Asda supermarket and opposite a pub with beautiful river views. Staff were attentive, welcoming, and smartly dressed.

The location of the hotel is ideal for travelers heading to the lakes or Scotland, with its proximity to stunning scenery and easy access to the river. Guests also appreciate being right across from the pub, perfect for a relaxing evening. having an Asda supermarket nearby is a convenience for those who need to pick up any essentials.

While the staff at the hotel are incredibly helpful, some guests were disappointed by the lack of kitchen facilities in their rooms. Although staff were willing to provide crockery and cutlery for a takeout meal, it was not an ideal situation for those who had planned on cooking their own meals.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep during our romantic escape. We also appreciated the location of the hotel, as it was conveniently situated close to the main attractions in the area. we loved that the hotel provided football nets, perfect for enjoying some outdoor fun with the kids.

Our room was not cleaned before our arrival, causing a bit of inconvenience. the lack of kitchen facilities, such as a microwave and fridge, was also disappointing.

The hotel is conveniently located right on the river, with a pub just across the road. There is an Asda supermarket nearby for any supplies you may need. The rooms are exceptional, featuring a separate walk-in closet and bathroom. The lounge area is spacious, with a big leather sofa and a large TV. The view from the hotel is great, overlooking the lune and tidal water.

The kitchen at the pub opposite the hotel has poor service and inconsistent closing times, which can be inconvenient for guests.

We absolutely loved the location of the Golden Ball. It's surrounded by history and has a charming old pub area that transports you back in time. The modern part of the hotel is equally delightful and blends seamlessly with the old. The grounds are fantastic, especially for families with kids, as there is a dedicated football area and a small play park. And let's not forget the stunning views!

The inconsistency with the pub's meal service. We arrived at 6.30 for dinner only to find out that the kitchen was closed.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for my needs as it was quiet and away from the main road. The hotel facilities were excellent, with spacious and clean rooms. Parking was convenient as I could park my car right outside. The hotel's proximity to the river and the lakes or Scotland made it a great starting point for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, the staff were friendly and provided pleasant and informed communication.
