The value for money at Golden Lion Wetherspoon was exceptional, with a wide choice of breakfast items and free coffee refills. The recently renovated rooms were stylish, comfortable, and super clean. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Limited parking options at the hotel itself, had to park in a long stay car park. Access to rooms is through narrow and steep stairs, which can be an issue for guests with large luggage.

The Golden Lion in Rochester was a great find! The location was perfect, right in the middle of town and close to the train station. Our room was modern and had all the amenities we needed, including USB charging ports. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We were also pleasantly surprised by the convenient app ordering system at the pub, which made getting our meals and drinks a breeze. The large garden area was a plus, and the draught beers were top-notch. We appreciated being able to choose what we wanted for breakfast and only paying for what we selected. The breakfast service was quick and the prices were reasonable.
