The value for money at The Grapes was excellent - spacious and clean rooms with comfy beds, and a nice bathroom with all the necessary toiletries provided. The location was perfect, close to the waterfront promenade and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I even got a discount at the pub for staying in the accommodation.

Menu for breakfast could be improved with more options.

The location of the hotel is ideal, with easy parking just down the road and close proximity to a fabulous restaurant called Coriander. It's also central to the nightlife and very close to the center, making it convenient for exploring. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with plenty of free toiletries and little chocolates as a nice touch. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing helpful tips and ensuring a pleasant stay. the hotel offers great value for money, especially during busy times like the boat show.

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel. The location was perfect, with the cruise port just a stone's throw away. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere and being able to easily explore the nearby restaurants and city center. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom offered all the necessary amenities. The staff provided friendly and helpful service throughout our stay. Plus, the breakfast at the adjacent cafe was superb. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

All was well, nothing to complain about.

Upon arrival, we received a warm and friendly welcome at Grapes. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of tea, coffee, and even two bottles of water in the room. The location was ideal, just a short walk away from the Maritimo Lounge where we enjoyed a superb breakfast. The value for money was exceptional, especially considering the boat show was just a 15-minute walk away. The owner was attentive and tried their best to resolve the issue with the poor wifi signal by adding a repeater closer to the room.

Exceptional early check-in, comfortable beds, extra coffee provided, perfect room away from noise, great location near ferry terminal.

The mattress was too soft, which made sleeping uncomfortable. the noise level from other guests kept us up at night, and there wasn't any information provided about how to contact staff for assistance.

Stayed at The Grapes for a night and loved it. The staff were amazing, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Surprisingly quiet, even during peak times. Had all the necessary amenities and nice little touches. Great value for money and an earlier check-in time. Can't recommend highly enough.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and facilities. The room was modernized, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I recently stayed at a hotel in Southampton and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, with many attractions within walking distance, such as the Tudor House and the city walls. There were also plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the spacious bathroom. Despite being above a busy pub, the noise was minimal and didn't disturb my sleep. Parking was convenient and I had no issues finding a space nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great value and enjoyable stay.

Despite a minor issue with the shower pressure, I would still recommend this hotel. I had a pleasant experience and would definitely consider staying here again.
