The Bluebell room, although small, was perfect for me and had the added charm of wobbly floors. The bar had a great atmosphere and even featured some fantastic piano playing. a lovely and quirky hotel in a picturesque location.

Wonderful experience on a summer evening. The courtyard was the perfect setting for our early dinner, and the grilled sardines and chicken liver pate were simply delicious. The rare sirloin and fish & chips exceeded our expectations in flavor and presentation. We even enjoyed a great Portuguese red wine at a reasonable price. The berry pavlova was the perfect ending to our meal. I had a fantastic time at Griffin Inn and would highly recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely old-style country inn in a beautiful village. From the moment I walked in, there was a warm welcome. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for my overnight stay. The bathroom had a cast iron bathtub and antique shower, adding a touch of elegance. The staff were friendly and helpful, with two chaps heading up the front of house. The breakfast options were plentiful and the food was very nice and well presented. I particularly enjoyed sitting in the delightful garden, sipping my complimentary hot drinks, and admiring the surrounding countryside. The location near a wall mirror added a charming touch to the room.

That the water pressure in the bath was quite low, making it take a long time to fill.
