I had a wonderful stay at this place. The staff were so pleasant and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The food in the restaurant exceeded my expectations, with a tasty and limited menu, complemented by a great selection of wines. The breakfast was also delicious, apart from the slightly hard poached egg. The accommodation was very comfortable, with a cozy pub atmosphere and friendly staff. I particularly loved the scallops starter and linguine mains. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and a touch of historic charm. The Bluebell room, although small, was perfect for me and had the added charm of wobbly floors. The bar had a great atmosphere and even featured some fantastic piano playing. a lovely and quirky hotel in a picturesque location.

Wonderful experience on a summer evening. The courtyard was the perfect setting for our early dinner, and the grilled sardines and chicken liver pate were simply delicious. The rare sirloin and fish & chips exceeded our expectations in flavor and presentation. We even enjoyed a great Portuguese red wine at a reasonable price. The berry pavlova was the perfect ending to our meal. I had a fantastic time at Griffin Inn and would highly recommend this hotel.

The inn had plenty of tables, perfect for enjoying the largescale summer BBQs. The room I stayed in was well-presented and comfortable, with a nice shower and a cozy bed. The staff were accommodating and easy to deal with, making my stay more enjoyable. The breakfast options were delicious and the evening meals offered varied choices. The inn also had outdoor seating areas, including a covered area, where I could relax and take in the breathtaking scenery.

The noise from closing doors in the morning was a slight inconvenience.

To top it off, the breakfast selection is superb, catering to different preferences and dietary needs.

Our stay was not up to the expectations we had for a romantic escape. The walls were paper thin, we could hear every noise coming from adjacent rooms, including snoring and talking.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely old-style country inn in a beautiful village. From the moment I walked in, there was a warm welcome. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for my overnight stay. The bathroom had a cast iron bathtub and antique shower, adding a touch of elegance. The staff were friendly and helpful, with two chaps heading up the front of house. The breakfast options were plentiful and the food was very nice and well presented. I particularly enjoyed sitting in the delightful garden, sipping my complimentary hot drinks, and admiring the surrounding countryside. The location near a wall mirror added a charming touch to the room.

That the water pressure in the bath was quite low, making it take a long time to fill.

We did have a few issues during our stay. the parking situation was quite frustrating as there were no spaces available in the hotel's car park and the alternative public car park was also full.
