My stay at The Half Moon was fantastic! It was a stop-over on a long journey, and I stayed for one night. The mattress in my room was the best I've ever slept on in a B&B/Hotel. The breakfast selection was superb with delicious cooked options. The hotel's location was convenient, and I loved the compact and clean atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I even left a tip for them. I also had the pleasure of experiencing their charity music festival event, which was a great bonus. Well done to Rob, the organizer!

The hotel had a large car park, convenient location near town. The breakfast was excellent, cooked to order with high-quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable, with good facilities and a good shower.

The hotel's location in Sheet was perfect for exploring the South Downs National Park and nearby attractions like Winchester, Chichester, and Portsmouth. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Special thanks to Colin and Yvonne for their warm hospitality and delicious breakfasts. The large free car park was also a bonus.

I had an amazing stay at Half Moon in Petersfield. the location was perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. the double room for my parents was excellent, and we all had a great night's sleep on the amazing mattress in room 203. the breakfast was delicious and the menu had a great variety of options to choose from. I was also impressed by the staff's efforts to make our stay enjoyable, including their participation in a charity music festival event. Well done to Rob, the organizer!

Amazingly friendly, kind & helpful staff - couldn’t do enough for us; loaded my bags because my back was hurting and looked after us as we were in between homes, moving house. Lovely, freshly cooked breakfast- congenial company.

I arrived late in the evening and my room still had clothes from a previous guest. They were removed with a verbal apology.

I recently stayed at The Half Moon for a wedding and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and even joining our twin beds to make a double. The room was beautifully furnished and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with a variety of options. The pub dinner was also delicious, especially the desserts. The hotel had plenty of parking spaces and was easy to find. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely and the hospitality was excellent. The room was large, well-decorated, and clean, with nice amenities like tea making facilities and an ironing board. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to the Festival of Speed, as well as Winchester, Chichester, and Portsmouth. The breakfast provided by Colin was superb - one of the best we've ever had, with a delicious fry-up and a selection of cereals. We also enjoyed a lovely meal in the pub restaurant. our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and well-priced.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure a great experience. the location was perfect for attending a nearby birthday BBQ, and it was conveniently located for easy access to the town. the breakfast was delicious, with options beyond the official menu, such as a tasty bowl of porridge and fruit.

While the decor could use an update, it wasn't a major issue and understandable given the location and typical clientele. I would have preferred more side lights instead of overhead lights, but again, it's a minor preference.

I had a fantastic stay at this traditional English pub. The hotel facilities were excellent, with very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing secure bike storage for my cycling tour. The location was perfect for my needs, with easy access to nearby villages and a field behind the hotel for dog walks. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the option to have a packed lunch for my early departure was a brilliant service.

I highly recommend this hotel for its great value, friendly staff, and convenient location. I only wish I could have stayed longer to explore more of the beautiful surroundings.
