The hotel was conveniently located near various attractions and many food outlets, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, with a cozy bed and a nice hot shower in the ensuite bathroom. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate guests, providing a massive and delicious breakfast to start the day.

The bar prices were a bit steep compared to other amenities offered by the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at The Halifax. Linda and Dennis were incredibly friendly and made me feel so welcome. The room was cozy and warm, with a lovely hot shower. The highlight was definitely the delicious breakfast - a wide selection of cereals and a huge cooked breakfast that kept me satisfied for most of the day. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center and the beach. Linda even went above and beyond to organize a night out for us, making sure we had a fantastic time. The bar prices were also very reasonable. I will definitely be returning to The Halifax.

Linda and Dennis were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Comfortable room with a nice hot shower. Fantastic breakfast - choice of cereals and a HUGE cooked breakfast. Ideal location, central and close to pubs, Coral Island, food outlets, arcades. Linda was very welcoming when we arrived.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

exploring the coast again and chose Halifax. perfect location, central and near everything. Linda and Dennis were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. great room, hot shower, and an amazing breakfast that kept us full all day. definitely coming back, highly recommend.

Noisy road outside, had to sleep with window open all night.

Booked at the last minute as our previous location had closed down. Linda and the team at the Halifax were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They managed to arrange tickets for us to watch a boxing match in town, which turned out to be a brilliant night. The bar prices were cheap, which was a bonus. The location of the hotel was fantastic, the food was lovely, and the staff were friendly. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, and the hotel had a warm and cosy atmosphere. We especially appreciated how accommodating they were with our baby, heating up bottles for us and being lovely with the kids. They even gave the kids a bowl of Halloween sweets and let them choose what they wanted to watch on TV. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back to the Halifax.
