We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect for exploring the nearby Shanklin Old Village and enjoying some delicious meals at the top of the cliffs. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and had all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities and a heating system for those cooler nights. We loved sitting out on the terrace with a complimentary drink and enjoying the beautiful garden views. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide selection of locally sourced products. We also enjoyed the leisure swimming pool, which was a great way to relax and soak up some sun on the sun terrace. we highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

had a great stay in shanklin, but havelock made it even better. the room was clean and comfy with a beautiful view. loved the breakfast and the small heated pool. the owners were lovely and made it feel like home.

toilet paper could be better quality

The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the hotel had a lovely pool. They provided useful advice about the area and booked tables for us in local restaurants. The room was recently renovated and clean. We had our own access to the pool and a small patio to relax on. The hotel also provided free pool towels and plenty of loungers.

We felt completely happy during our stay, and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

The location was fabulous, hosts were great, plentiful and good quality food, hiccups sorted quickly, great location near seafront, old village.

Our room was comfortable and offered a beautiful sea view. the hotel is conveniently situated just a short walk from Old Shanklin, the beach, and the Chine. We would definitely return to the Havelock.

The parking situation was quite difficult as there were limited spaces available, which meant double parking or parking on the street were the only options.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and it was a great choice. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and to local restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. the breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams and a variety of options to choose from. the outdoor pool was a nice bonus, even though it was winter.

The parking was a bit of an issue, as we had to park on the street which was awkward at times. the hot water in our room took a while to heat up so we had to wait a bit for our showers.

I had a very pleasant three-night stay at The Havelock. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The room and en suite were clean and comfortable, with ample wardrobe space. The warm swimming pool was an added bonus, and the breakfasts were excellent. I only wish I had stayed longer to try more of their delicious breakfast options. a delightful experience.
