We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is amazing and couldn't be better for exploring the area. It's right in the heart of everything, within a short walk of shops, restaurants, and bus stops. The convenience was perfect for us as we didn't have a car. The host was incredibly accommodating and had a lovely personal touch. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, and the room had all the amenities we needed, including a comfortable bed and a nice carpeted floor. The staff were friendly, hospitable, accommodating, and extremely professional. We really appreciated their help with looking after our bags after check-out so we didn't have to lug them around. Plus, the breakfast was fabulous!

I recently had a fantastic stay at a lovely and comfortable B&B in the heart of a charming town. The host, Catherine, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The room was spotlessly clean and had a recently upgraded decor, making it even more pleasant to relax in. I particularly enjoyed the en-suite shower and the comfortable bed. The breakfast options were impressive, with a great choice of continental breakfast as well as two hot options. Although there was a tiny gap under the door, the room was still relatively quiet and I slept really well. The location of the B&B was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and in close proximity to all the best restaurants and pubs in the area. I felt safe and secure traveling alone, and it was a great base for exploring the local attractions. I highly recommend this B&B for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Plus, the breakfast menu had a wide range of delicious options to choose from.

That the hotel was located at the top of Windermere, and I personally would have preferred to be closer to Bowness, where there seemed to be more happening. However, there were still plenty of activities and amenities nearby, so it wasn't a major issue.

The location of the hotel was superb, situated right in the centre of Windermere. Just a short walk from the train station, it was extremely convenient for us as business guests. We were also delighted to find a variety of restaurants and walking paths to the lake nearby, allowing us to explore the beautiful surroundings during our free time.

The only minor drawback we encountered was the absence of herbal/fruit teas in the room. However, this did not take away from the overall positive experience as we were confident that the host would have been accommodating if we had requested them.

Located in a small town with fewer tourists, perfect for a quiet holiday getaway. The hotel's charmingly decorated rooms and comfortable beds make for a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Unlike some hotels, breakfast was excellent and the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection.

There isn't much to do at this hotel. We spent New Years at the hotel but there was no celebration and the surrounding area was too quiet and seemed to be asleep.
