We had a fantastic stay at Hopetoun Arms in Leadhills. the hotel exceeded our expectations with its spacious and contemporary rooms. the decor was stylish and the room was warm and welcoming. the bar impressed us with its range of high quality meals, beautifully cooked and served. the friendly atmosphere in the bar, complete with a real fire and comfortable seating, made us feel like old friends.

The food at the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced. the portions were generous, and I especially enjoyed the fresh milk provided for beverages in the room. the hotel had a nice atmosphere in the bar during evening meals. the location was also convenient, being situated near a unique 9-hole golf course, and the friendly hosts made for a pleasant stay.

The room I was given was located in the attic, which was inconvenient for my disabled husband due to the number of stairs. the bed was very uncomfortable with a thin mattress, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in the snow-capped hills of a charming village. The beautiful building and friendly welcome make you feel instantly at home. The rooms are spacious and clean, with attention to detail that adds a touch of luxury. The walk-in shower was a delight, and the great breakfast included in the price was a fantastic start to the day.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. the hotel was located in a great area, close to popular tourist spots. the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs.

The room was not cleaned properly and there were a few pesky flies buzzing around. the hotel lacked attention to detail and could have used a refresh.

Lovely accommodation and pub, great food, gorgeous rooms and very dog friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. The pub had a great selection of drinks and the food was delicious. We also loved how dog friendly they were, making our furry friends feel welcome. Despite a few minor hiccups, the overall experience at the Hopetoun Arms was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Excellent breakfast selection, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. the breakfast offered a wide range of options, including juice, cereal, coffee, bacon, egg. the beds were comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the staff were friendly and welcoming, providing great service throughout the stay.

Some minor issues with the room, including lack of heating and hot water in the sink. the room had an electric shower, which worked fine, but not having hot water in the sink and no soap provided was a downside.

Stayed at Hopetoun Arms, a lovely accommodation and pub in a peaceful and beautiful location. The owners were very attentive, offering a pick-up and drop-off service. The bar had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and the room had subtle Scottish decor. The bed was comfortable, and the walk-in shower was excellent. Enjoyed a delicious Scottish breakfast and well-priced meals. The staff were chatty and helpful, and the packed lunch for a day in the hills was great.
