I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Port Ellen. The value for money was great, with a clean and modern room that had a beautiful vintage/country vibe. The location was perfect, especially for whisky enthusiasts like myself, with distilleries like Lagavulin and Laphroaig within walking distance. The staff treated me like royalty, providing first-class service throughout my stay.

For the price we paid, the value was exceptional. The room was spacious, clean and had all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. The location couldn't be better, right by the picturesque cove and ferry port. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home.

I recently stayed at The Islay Hotel for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location was perfect, being close to the ferry and providing easy access to explore the rest of the island. I opted for a premium room and it was definitely worth the extra money. The room was spacious with added extras, offering stunning sea views and a large, comfortable double bed. The bathroom was fantastic, complete with a jacuzzi bath. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of choices.

Room cleanliness could be improved.

My Xmas stay at this hotel was decent, considering the circumstances. the complementary mince pies and mulled wine were a nice touch that added to the festive atmosphere. the hotel's proximity to the town center and transportation made it easy to get around. One of the best aspects of my stay was the comfortable bed, which allowed me to get a decent night's sleep despite the noise from other guests.

My stay wasn't without its drawbacks. the heating in my room was unreliable, leaving me shivering in the cold.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in Islay and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Nigel, in particular, was outstanding in assisting with my rental car and providing recommendations for things to do. The room was clean and cozy, and the hotel's restaurant had delicious food, especially the scotch egg and breakfast. The location was excellent, within walking distance to several distilleries. The hotel and its staff were truly outstanding.
