I got great value for my money at the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The location was fantastic with amazing views and it was nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering a wider variety of pastries and fruits.

Felt extremely safe, nothing was too much trouble

This hotel is located in a really nice area to do walks in the Peak District. It is nestled amongst the rolling hills, with stunning views of Dovedale from the large panoramic windows. The rooms are comfortable with lovely views and a large bathroom. The breakfast is fantastic, with hot food freshly cooked to order and a great view outside.

No improvements necessary, everything was perfect.

the staff were the saving grace of our stay. They were extremely friendly and the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. the views from the hotel were beautiful, and the approach to the hotel was very appealing. the food in the bar section was enjoyable, and the desserts were nicely presented. However, these few positive aspects were overshadowed by the numerous negative aspects of our experience. we had a bad night's sleep and would not consider staying at this hotel again.

I recently stayed at the Izaak Walton Hotel and I must say, the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The hotel is located in a stunning countryside setting, and the weather during my stay was perfect. The views from my room were breathtaking, and I enjoyed sitting in the outdoor seating areas, taking in the peaceful ambiance.

There were a few drawbacks during my stay. The shower in my bathroom was quite feeble and lacked any pressure.
