Great location for exploring the beautiful Galloway Forest and Solway Firth. Clean, compact rooms with comfortable beds. Nathaniel provided excellent service throughout our stay. Plenty of parking available. Only minor maintenance issues.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy hotel in Scotland. the rooms were comfortable, with luxurious linens and a clean, spacious shower. the meals were absolutely delicious, especially the steak and ale pie - it literally melted in our mouths! We also loved the warm hospitality, with the owner offering helpful recommendations for day trips and stargazing spots. the hotel even had a room where we could borrow movies and games, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The only issue we encountered was slow service in the restaurant on Sunday night, which took two hours for two courses. However, the service improved throughout the week, although it did slow down again on Friday.

We chose this hotel for our family getaway because of its fantastic location right next to a beautiful river in the middle of the countryside. The outdoor areas were superb, perfect for the kids to explore and play. Our room was clean and neat, with all the necessary facilities like a TV and coffee making facilities. The service was excellent, with a friendly and cheerful barman named Mark who made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we loved sitting outside by the river as the sun went down.

We were disappointed by the tiny bathroom in our room.

The hotel's location is excellent, providing easy access to New Galloway and the surrounding attractions of the Dumfries and Galloway lochs and forestry. The view from the restaurant and terrace is great, with a lovely view over the river and the beautiful bridge. The service and staff were fantastic, providing excellent customer care. The rooms, although a bit dated, were comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for our needs. They had all the basic amenities we required, including a kettle and hairdryer. The breakfast options were good, catering even for vegetarians. The Scottish take on a fried breakfast, complete with haggis, was spectacular.

Everything was perfect, nothing to improve upon.

We had a delightful stay at the Ken Bridge Hotel. Our bedroom and en-suite were beautifully clean, and the breakfast was excellent. the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival, offering us dinner options and serving us at 10pm in the bar. the owner was incredibly nice and helpful, making a great difference to our trip. the location was ideal for exploring the Galloway Forest and the Solway Firth coastal area, and the staff provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. we highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel's location was a bit out of the way, but this only added to its charm. The surrounding scenery, especially the view overlooking the river Ken, was outstanding in beauty. The hotel staff were attentive and accommodating, and the basic amenities provided were more than satisfactory. The rooms were large, filled with plenty of natural light, and featured the best shower with plenty of power. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, offering a great selection of food, and there was even a good beer selection for a fairly remote place.

All in all, everything at this hotel was ok.

The Kenbridge Hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, especially considering the attention to detail and level of service we received. Secondly, the location of the hotel right on the river was simply stunning. We had a beautiful view from our room, and it was a shame that the sun wasn't out to fully enjoy the outdoor sitting area. Lastly, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel at home and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Special mention must be made of the delicious breakfast that was served every morning - a great way to start the day.

Good night's sleep in comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with a delightful server. the location was beautiful and serene, surrounded by a river.

The room was tiny, with a cramped ensuite shower and toilet. the price for the night, B&B, was ridiculous and not worth it.

We got great value for our money with a neat and clean room, plus an excellent breakfast that saved us from buying lunch. The location near the bridge with a lovely view of the river was perfect, and the staff treated us with friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay.

The breakfast could have been made even better with more variety or daily specials.

We stayed at Ken Bridge for three nights, using it as a base to explore the beautiful Galloway Forest and the Solway Firth coastal area. The hotel's location by the river was stunning, the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean and well stocked. The staff, especially Nathaniel, were excellent and provided great service. The meals, including the amazing pavlova, were all delicious. It was a quiet and peaceful stay, perfect for relaxation and walking.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The Ken Bridge Hotel is a great place to stay in the borders. The location is fantastic, with beautiful views of the river and countryside. The owners have excellent knowledge of the local area, making it easy to explore the Galloway Forest Park. The breakfast and evening meals were both delicious and plentiful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with modern bathrooms. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed sitting by the river on sunny days, enjoying drinks and the peaceful atmosphere.

A slight delay in service during busy times, but it was not a major issue.
