We had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location by the harbour was perfect for us, as we took the ferry from Lerwick. It was so convenient being close to the ferry terminal, just down the bay. The hotel facilities were great, and our room was clean, cosy, and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive without being overly so.

The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The renovated bar and restaurant offered delicious meals, and the breakfasts were outstanding. The location was perfect, with shops and attractions easily accessible.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Kirkwall for a few nights. The decor in both the public areas and the rooms was pleasantly surprising. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower room was spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and offered helpful assistance. One unique aspect was the ability to dine with our dog in the Tudor Bar, which is not something you often find. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was great. a lovely hotel experience.

The restaurant served delicious food, and the homemade scone with jam and cream was a delightful treat. Despite a small noise issue and dated decor, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel. a lovely experience.

the building was charming with its original features, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My room, although a bit dark due to its location in an alleyway, was spotlessly clean. Despite some noise from the street, I enjoyed a comfortable stay. the hotel's restaurant served excellent breakfast and dinner, though the service during dinner was a bit slow. my time in Kirkwall was wonderful, and the hotel made it even more enjoyable.

The location of the hotel in Kirkwall was excellent, right by the harbour. The bar and dining room were beautifully refurbished. My room was spacious with a large bathroom, and the breakfast served was delicious. The staff, particularly those working between the bar and dining room, were friendly and helpful.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel despite a few minor drawbacks. The car parking was a bit inconvenient as it was on the road, but I found a free car park nearby.

The staff were friendly, the dinner and breakfast were excellent. We booked last minute due to a ferry cancellation. We would have upgraded to a better room if we stayed longer. Gorgeous location and great view from our room onto the harbor.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the harbour. You can easily catch the late ferry from Shetland or the ferry from Lerwick or Aberdeen. The rooms are newly decorated and refurbished to a high standard, with tasteful decor. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is enjoyable with a variety of options. Guests can also enjoy the view of the harbour from some rooms. Additionally, the restaurant offers locally produced food and the Orcadian breakfast is a highlight.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location was absolutely superb, right in the heart of the town and close to the inter-island ferry terminal. It made exploring the area so convenient and hassle-free. The staff at the hotel were also incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in the rooms, which had a great view of the harbour and provided all the basic amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast served was also a highlight, with a wide selection to choose from and the added bonus of being able to eat cereals while waiting for your cooked meal. All in all, this hotel provided great value for money and I would highly recommend it.

Great location for exploring the city, friendly staff willing to help us with recommendations for places to eat and see. the breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea in the room and the free WiFi, which was convenient for planning our day.

The room felt a bit dated and lacked some basic amenities. the bathroom vent wasn't working, and the tv automatically turned off at midnight.
