I had a wonderful stay at a charming country pub recently. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed, including an ironing board and iron. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. The pub itself had a lovely atmosphere and the owner, Martin, was incredibly friendly. The highlight of my stay was the delicious meal I had with my family. The food was well-cooked and beautifully presented, and the menu had a great variety of options. We also had the best smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. I can't recommend this place enough, whether you're looking for a drink, lunch, or dinner. I had a fantastic experience at this country pub and would definitely return.

This hotel is a hidden gem located in a picturesque hamlet. The rooms are spacious, well-decorated, and very clean, with amazing views of the countryside. The attention to detail is evident in the well-equipped amenities and the lovely burning wood fire in the bar area. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast, included in the stay, was delicious and cooked to order, with a good variety of options to choose from.

our recent stay here for a wedding was incredible! the family who run it are the friendliest hosts. the rooms were comfy, quirky, and spotless. the highlight was definitely the pub/restaurant - amazing decor, incredible homemade food. can't wait to come back!

Bathroom plumbing a bit tricky.

I particularly enjoyed the fish pie with peas and carrots, while my husband loved his ham, egg, and chips. the full English breakfast the next morning was equally as impressive. I also appreciated the little touches, like the jar of jelly babies in the room. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this wonderful inn and thank Martyn and Lyn for their hospitality.

Stayed here for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The bed was large and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. All the necessary amenities were provided, from toiletries to tea and coffee making facilities. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, especially the delicious pie and orange tart. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

The location of the hotel right next to the railway can be convenient for those who need easy access to transportation. Some may enjoy the view of the trains passing by, creating a unique atmosphere. the rooms were nicely decorated and clean, providing a comfortable stay for guests. The friendly staff were accommodating and always willing to assist with any requests.

It should be noted that there was a noise disturbance throughout the night due to the proximity to the railway.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was bright, clean, and surprisingly spacious, with high ceilings that helped regulate the temperature.
