The hotel was conveniently located near the park we were visiting, as well as being next to the oldest church in the area, which provided some historical charm. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast each morning was delicious and plentiful. The room was spacious and well-decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay.

We had a really warm welcome at this place, with the manager even offering to keep the bar open for us. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed, including milk in the fridge and a nice selection of teas. The large towels and individual soaps were a nice touch. We also appreciated the fan in the room during the hot summer month of August.

Although breakfast wasn't available, there were plenty of options nearby. The room was a bit difficult to access, but the staff was always helpful.

That the rooms were located on the third floor with no lift, making it a bit of a challenge to carry our luggage up and down. However, this minor inconvenience was overshadowed by the overall positive experience we had at the hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, situated next to the oldest Church in Eastbourne, we were surrounded by history. The hotel is also conveniently located just outside the main town centre, making it easy to explore all the attractions we wanted to visit. The room was well-appointed with comfortable furniture and the en-suite bathroom was spacious and warm. The staff provided top-notch service, and the breakfast was delicious. the hotel had a small car park onsite, which was convenient for guests with vehicles.

The music in the pub could be quite loud on Friday nights, which may disturb guests who prefer a quieter environment to rest in.

Stayed here for New Year's and the price was reasonable. The room was clean and had a TV and en-suite bathroom. The hotel is located close to the main street and offered easy access to shops and restaurants. The hotel had a nice fireplace in the common room which was great to gather around on chilly evenings.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel just across the road from the wedding venue we attended. The location was perfect for us, with several restaurants and pubs nearby. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary tea making facilities. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the park opposite the hotel. a great choice for our family wedding weekend.

Had a fantastic stay at a traditional pub with a modern feel. The food was excellent, especially the roasts. Loved the historical building and the free tours of the crypt. Comfy room, great amenities, and friendly owners. Will definitely recommend! a memorable experience.

The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and were always friendly and accommodating. The highlight for me was the exceptional food at the restaurant - truly a culinary delight. I loved my experience so much that I even made bookings for future occasions while I was there. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
