I stayed at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights and I couldn't have asked for a better location. The hotel is situated in Borrowdale, surrounded by stunning scenery and is within easy reach of many attractions. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and the service provided was top-notch. The room I stayed in had an excellent spacious bathroom with a unique vanity area that had great lighting and mirrors. Although the bedroom itself was small, the bed was comfortable. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food. The chef at Leathes Head Hotel is excellent and the dishes served were truly delicious. The dining experience was top-notch, with beautifully presented food and a good selection of wines. Breakfast was also of a high standard, offering a wide variety of cooked food as well as continental options. I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning location, cleanliness, and outstanding dining experience.

I recently had a very enjoyable stay at a charming hotel nestled in beautiful gardens. The hotel offers excellent value for money, with competitive prices and attention to detail. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring that all guests felt well taken care of. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with modern facilities, and I was delighted to wake up to fantastic views each morning. Moreover, the hotel served a delicious breakfast with options available for vegans, which was a pleasant surprise.

Although there was one minor aspect that could be improved upon, overall, everything was more than satisfactory.

Clean, roomy rooms with well-stocked refreshment trays. Spotless rooms, comfortable bedding. Excellent, faultless dining experience with a variety of food options. Wonderful breakfast with a great selection. Amazing, hardworking staff. Beautiful location, warmly greeted. Superior/Spa room recently decorated to high standard. Helpful staff with thoughtful anniversary flowers. Extremely good dinner and breakfast with fantastic ingredients. Excellent stocked bar with wide wine selection. Phil the pheasant and companion visit daily. Little gem in Borrowdale, one-night stay was excellent. Lively, friendly staff. Would stay again.

The hotel had amazing food with a high-quality three-course meal that was comparable to Michelin restaurant standards. the location was perfect with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and gardens in bloom. the natural life in the area was a joy to see with Herdwick sheep and pheasants in flight.

Water was expensive, and it was challenging to get a table at the restaurant unless you booked in advance. the noise from rooms above and the kitchen on the bottom floor was disturbing at times.
