The staff were excellent - professional, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and finished to a high standard, with good quality towels and linen. The WiFi connection was reliable and fairly quick. The public areas were well-maintained, and the hotel had ample parking. The location was fantastic, especially for the racecourse. The bar was fantastic, and the breakfast was filling.

My stay at the Lodge in Newbury was great. The location was convenient for my family visit and the hotel itself was light and clean. The room, although small, was comfortable and everything worked well, including the Wifi. The staff, particularly the receptionist and the girl in the restaurant, were attentive and polite. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk into town where you can find lovely pubs and shops. The surroundings from the racecourse add to the charm, and it's in a nice, relaxed setting away from the city center but still close enough to walk into town. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and tidy, with basic amenities provided.

We were impressed by their helpfulness, accommodating our requests for early check-in without any additional charges. the breakfast was delicious and despite the nearing closing time, they allowed us to enjoy a full English breakfast. the little touches in the room added to the overall experience. The Lodge offers great value for money with its reasonable prices and attention to detail. Located right at the racecourse, this hotel provides a unique and exciting experience. The rooms on the first floor have a small window to open, but they make up for it with a very comfy bed and a lovely view out over the racetrack. The staff at the hotel are friendly and provide excellent service, making you feel right at home. Lastly, the breakfast served at this hotel is delicious and satisfying, the perfect start to a day of exploring the area.

We had an amazing day at the races and The Lodge was the perfect choice for our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel was clean, our room was spacious and the bed was huge and comfortable. The amenities, like the kettle with plenty of coffee and tea options, were a nice touch. The breakfast had a good variety and the staff continued to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Despite the lift being out of action, the reception staff were helpful and offered assistance with luggage. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was nice and there was a great selection of food to choose from. the location of the hotel was also convenient, as it was close to the train station and easy to get around the city. the hotel had a lovely bar area where you could relax and enjoy a drink.

The cleanliness of the hotel was not up to standard, especially in the bathroom. There were hairs and dried soap suds on the shower tiles, and the sink didn't look clean either.
