Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience! the room was comfy with a lovely view of the quay where the ferry arrives. the staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. the meals in the pub were delicious, freshly made to order. We loved the vibe of the bar area, with a good selection of beers. the location, right by the Quay, was ideal for exploring the beautiful scenery of Polruan.

One thing to consider is that if you struggle with climbing hills, the parking can be a bit of a challenge as it's at the top of a hill. It might not be the best fit for older guests with mobility issues.

Arriving late, a cozy room and the pub below was alive. I enjoyed a river view from my room and the convenient ferry to Fowey. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

Getting to the village was a nightmare with the car - crazy steep and narrow roads. the rooms above the pub were not great if you prefer peace and quiet at night.
