We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, where the staff made us feel like part of their family. The location was perfect, with some excellent restaurants nearby and easy access to sightseeing locations. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and Molton Brown toiletries. The service was impeccable, from the friendly and professional staff to the flawless housekeeping. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the restaurant, which was cooked to order and included a traditional Scottish breakfast. a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend.

We've been going to this charming hotel for years, nestled in a lovely tranquil setting. The rooms are always large, clean, and comfortable, with crispy cotton bedding and beautiful views onto the grounds. The bathrooms even have baths, a rarity these days. The staff are warm and welcoming, providing excellent service. Breakfast is a delight, with a buffet and cooked options, like the delicious Bircher muesli with fresh berries. The hotel also offers a range of treatments at their spa. It's the perfect place for a special evening or to unwind with a newspaper.

It's hard to find a quiet spot for pre-dinner drinks or some downtime with a newspaper.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty. the staff here are incredibly attentive and go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. the exclusive amenities were top-notch, with the beautifully decorated spa and wellness center offering an array of treatments, such as body scrubs and massages.

Although our room was pristine and beautifully appointed, we did experience some minor issues with the air conditioning. Despite this, the service here was so exceptional that it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the hotel.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa. the staff were excellent and catered to my ambulant disability with great care. the evening meal at the restaurant was fantastic, and the breakfast was filling and delicious. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious and quiet. the hotel provided a range of amenities, including shampoos, shower gels, teas, and coffees in the room. the location was perfect, especially for those visiting the nearby international school. it was a memorable stay for our 35th wedding anniversary.
