The pillows at the hotel were just perfect for me - firm and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The lovely location, friendly staff, and reasonably priced meals and drinks added to the overall experience. I was impressed with the recent refurbishment and the sea view from our room was absolutely stunning. The outdoor areas were spacious and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. I am already looking forward to returning to this delightful hotel.

We spent a relaxing weekend enjoying the warm, quiet, and comfortable room with stunning views of the harbor and Urr estuary. The freshly laundered bed linen added a comforting touch, and we even got to listen to the soothing sounds of curlews in the night. The hotel's location was perfect for us, as we were able to explore the beautiful coastline and go on walks straight from the hotel's doorstep. The staff made us feel completely at home, and we appreciated being able to have our dog join us for meals without any awkwardness. The bar provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, where we could enjoy delicious meals quickly and without any distractions. We would definitely stay at The Mariner Hotel again!

I had a pleasant stay in a small village. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The room had a bright and airy atmosphere, providing a comfortable stay. The location offered beautiful views of the estuary and there were plenty of seating areas to relax. The meals at the hotel were excellent, especially the steak and ale pie.

The room and en-suite needed some TLC and the twin beds were uncomfortable.

I recently stayed at The Mariner Hotel in Kippford for a short break. The food at dinner was excellent, especially the salmon fillets which were generously portioned. The staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly the man behind the bar and the breakfast server. The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep.
