The property has been tastefully refurbished with a mix of old and new, and our room was extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast options were excellent, and the evening meal in the restaurant was also lovely.

Located in a lovely family-friendly pub, The Kings Head offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms that boast powerful showers. The staff is extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate guests. The breakfast menu offers a great variety of options and portions are substantial. With excellent food and drinks, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. The pub also offers wood-fired pizzas on Fridays, though sadly, we missed out this time.

The Wi-Fi connection can be a bit hit and miss, which can be a slight inconvenience.

We especially enjoyed the selection of real ales available. The bar area and outside were lovely, and the whole building had a charming authenticity to it. The breakfast had a good variety and was of great quality. Parking was also easy outside.

As a light sleeper, I really appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the quiet ambiance of the property.

The hotel's dinner offerings were superb, with a great variety to choose from. The Wednesday offer of a pie and a pint for only £10 was a brilliant deal. The breakfast options were also plentiful, and I highly recommend trying the posh mushrooms. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, and location were all top-notch.
