Recently renovated, room had a sloped ceiling and small sink, but we saw the funny side. Good breakfast with plenty of options, friendly and welcoming staff. About a 20-minute walk from downtown, quiet street at night, and private parking available.

It was all superb.

The bed was comfy, the shower was warm, and they provided useful toiletries. Breakfast included hot meals. The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is located near the cathedral and is a short drive from the train station.

Our hostess at The Milton B&B was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious and arrived promptly, ensuring we had a great start to our day. We also had a couple of items that we accidentally left behind, but the hostess was quick to send them to us when we reported them missing. we were impressed with the helpful and charming service provided.

The room we stayed in at The Milton was newly decorated and well laid out. It was clean, modern, and tidy, with a lovely en-suite shower room. The breakfast area was also nice and the cooked breakfast was simple but good. We appreciated the off-street parking, although it was a bit tight for space. The location of the property was quite convenient as well.

There were a few minor drawbacks during our stay. The slanting roofs in the room and toilet were a challenge for my husband, who is over 6ft tall, as he didn't want to bang his head.

Renovated rooms with sloped ceilings outside and in the toilet/shower room. Occasional head bumps but it added some humor. Water pressure in small sink could be better. Friendly owners, delicious breakfast, and plenty of takeaway menus. Conveniently located on a main road with off-street parking. Comfortable bed for a great night's sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully presented and nice and cosy, perfect for those who feel the cold. The hotel had parking available at the rear, and if that was full, there was plenty of on-street parking across the road. The location was quite close to the train station and away from the town centre, making it easy to access transportation and explore the shops. The breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing us with information about nearby food places and places of interest.
