Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The hotel is situated halfway down the hill in a great location, making it convenient for exploring the port. The rooms are comfortable and come with basic amenities like a kettle and TV with access to Netflix. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the breakfast selection is impressive with a good range of options to choose from.

Lovely old village hotel with character. Comfortable rooms and friendly, hardworking staff. Incredible food, especially the crab claws. Great drinks from their own brewery. a fantastic stay.

Located halfway down the hill, the hotel offers a convenient location close to the port. The staff were friendly and provided great service throughout our stay. The room was cosy and comfortable, with a good shower in the bathroom.

The vegetarian sausages served at breakfast were not very enjoyable.

We were excited to escape for a romantic weekend getaway. the key location was ideal, as we were able to explore the local area with ease. the cozy room was comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options to choose from. It was a nice touch to have fresh fruit available.

We had a fantastic stay at the New Inn. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location was excellent. We were able to leave our bags while we explored the village the next day, which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the quaint and centrally located area. The room I had was spacious, clean, and had a lovely balcony. The bar and restaurant in the hotel were amazing, offering delicious meals and a friendly atmosphere. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service. Additionally, the hotel had free WiFi and a Smart TV. The location was ideal, as it was halfway down the hill and close to the port, making it easy to explore this beautiful city. The breakfast provided was also fantastic, ensuring a great start to the day.

No shared bathrooms in a different location, unacceptable.

We stayed 1 night at the New Inn while walking the South West Coast Path. The service was good and staff were friendly. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, but a bit tired and worn in places. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant served standard pub fare in the evening, and the fish & chips were very good. We had full English breakfast in the morning, which was okay.

What a little gem. It was a very wet miserable day. Arrived at the New Inn and was greeted by the smiley face of Tonia. She made us feel welcome and showed us to our lovely room. Afterwards we decided to sit in the bar and have a few drinks. Was given a warm welcome by Aiden who was very chatty and great to talk to. There were other staff milling about and making us feel welcome. We remember a Maddie and Meg. Tonia joined some locals after her shift and we all sat chatting. We had an evening meal there that was very tasty. The girls once again were very attentive and just generally made it a great evening. All in all a fantastic time and wished we were staying longer.

The views were exceptional, with beautiful glimpses of the sea and charming balconies overlooking the village. the location was also perfect, halfway up the hill, making it a pleasant walk down to the harbor. the staff was very pleasant and helpful, creating a nice atmosphere in the pub where locals also gathered.

It felt more like hostel accommodation with twin beds and a shared bathroom down a corridor. the room lacked essential comforts, such as a working TV remote, proper tea options, and a hairdryer that had to be requested.
