Noisy street kept us awake at night.

We stayed at Norwood for an overnight visit and were extremely satisfied. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great bed and pillows. The TV was a good size, and there were nice touches like tea, coffee, and shortbread in the room. The breakfast was top quality, with a full English option and a lovely presentation. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. We'll definitely be coming back soon.

We recently stayed at a B&B in a superior double room. The room was spacious and had the most comfortable king bed we've ever slept in. The furniture was a bit dated, but still usable. The shower was nice and hot, although not a power shower. The room was also very clean. The new owners, who have only been there for about 6 weeks, were fantastic. They were friendly, always had a smile, and couldn't do enough for us. Their young son was also a great addition to the family-run experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk up from the beach. The breakfast, cooked by the owner, was delicious and the service from his wife was excellent. We absolutely loved our stay at Norwood and will definitely come back when we're in town.

The location of the hotel is great, being very close to the town centre and the seafront. There is even a pub opposite the hotel for those looking for a night cap. The rooms are comfortable and impeccably clean, providing a home away from home feeling. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options including fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereals. the location, cleanliness, service, and breakfast make this a top choice when visiting Torquay.

I had a fantastic stay at The Norwood. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The beach was just a short walk/landtrain ride away from the B&B, making it convenient for us to enjoy the beautiful coast. The house was lovely and well-maintained, with a clean and comfortable room. Mary, Veronica, and Tom, the people running the place, couldn't do enough for us. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable, even giving us a bottle of wine for our 1st anniversary. The breakfasts were delicious, with a good variety of choices. I also appreciated the chocolate with every breakfast order, a lovely touch. The guest house felt safe, which was reassuring in the present climate. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend The Norwood.

The hotel is situated in a bay just up the road, allowing unrestricted access on Sundays. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and come with plenty of amenities such as clean towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea facilities. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, with a special mention to the beautifully made fruit yogurt.

One downside is that the hotel is located on hilly terrain, which may be challenging for some guests who prefer not to walk too much.

The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the hotel provided unexpected amenities such as a DVD player in the room and a goodie bag left outside the door.
