I had such a lovely stay at this charming pub with rooms. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the coach station and the 02 Institute where I was attending a concert. The value for money was excellent, exactly what I was looking for. The staff were kind and accommodating, allowing me to check out different rooms to find the best mattress for my bad back. The room itself was clean and I appreciated the kettle and drinks making facilities. I had a great experience at Old Crown and would recommend it.

I particularly loved the historic charm of the building, which was accentuated by the traditional English pub atmosphere inside and the funky modern beer garden outside.

Additionally, the hotel's location was super convenient, allowing me to easily explore the city center. The top quality bathrooms in this 700-year-old building were a pleasant surprise, and the tantalizing aroma of the food made me wish I had arrived earlier to try it. The beautiful room and decor, along with the bonus of potential ghost sightings, made my stay truly memorable. Lastly, the shower was absolutely amazing.

The location of this independent B&B is ideal for exploring the city center and attending concerts at the nearby O2 Institute. The food served in the pub was tasty and the service was fast. it was great value for money and conveniently located.

Some noise from external sources such as street traffic and nearby clubs can be heard, which may disturb light sleepers.

Perfect location, just a short walk to o2 Institute and Custard Factory. Easy access to buses and close to everything. the building is stunning and the room was clean and spacious. Despite the noise, the atmosphere was great. the staff were friendly and helpful.

The bed was uncomfortable and in need of an upgrade. the staff were sometimes rude and there seemed to be a lack of communication between them.

I stayed at The Old Crown in Birmingham for a weekend getaway. The hotel had a quirky, historical charm and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even allowing us to keep our bikes inside overnight. The bar played music by The Doors and The Beatles, creating a lively atmosphere. And the best part? The price of £45 a night for a shared room was an absolute steal! The hotel was also conveniently located on the edge of an industrial area, with picturesque canals, old factories, and railway bridges nearby. The showers and toilets down the corridor were spotlessly clean, and the outside bar had a fantastic vibe where people actually engaged with each other instead of staring at their phones. it was a bloody brilliant experience!

I had a great time at this hotel. The staff were really friendly and made me feel welcome. The room I stayed in was huge and comfortable, with modern fittings in the bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable - I wish I knew where it was from! The location of the hotel was excellent, with lots of independent and creative stores, nice bars, and a feel-good market nearby. The graffiti around the area gave off a cool, 90s independent vibe that I loved. It was also really convenient being close to the Birmingham Coach station.
