The Old Fourpenny Shop Hotel in Warwick is an absolute gem. the location is fantastic, being close to the race course and within walking distance of the magnificent castle. Secondly, the attention to detail in the rooms is commendable, with new furniture and decor creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The bathrooms are truly fabulous, boasting excellent spaciousness and walk-in showers. Lastly, the breakfast is an absolute highlight, with hot food being freshly cooked and served by a friendly Portuguese waitress. The porridge is simply the best I've ever had, setting the tone for a perfect start to the day.

I particularly loved the reserved table outside the room, where I could sit and relax. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, providing a great start to my day. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

Our city break was noteworthy. We really enjoyed exploring the town as everything was a short distance away from our accommodation. the complimentary breakfast was an added bonus and we appreciated the self-service station with plenty of options. the staff offered free maps and highlighted popular tourist spots.

The shower in our room was a bit frustrating to use since it was difficult to control the temperature. the parking entrance was quite small and caused some anxiety when driving through.
