The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, ensuring every detail was thought of to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. the picturesque countryside location added to the charm, providing a relaxing atmosphere. Only minor issue was the slightly soft mattress in the room, but overall, a delightful experience that exceeded expectations.

Our family had a wonderful time at the historic manor house surrounded by lush greenery. The hosts were warm and accommodating, the gourmet breakfast served on elegant china was a treat, and the kids loved watching squirrels play in the garden. Cons: My children wanted a small playground for entertainment.

Confusing arrival instructions

The Old Rectory Somerset in North Perrott was a truly delightful stay for me and my 4-month-old baby. the beautiful house, wonderful gardens, and superb location made our visit special. Caroline and Alan were perfect hosts, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the delicious bespoke breakfasts were a highlight, with organic ingredients and homemade touches creating a lovely atmosphere. the family suite was cozy and immaculate, and the Cowshed toiletries added a luxurious touch. the thoughtful relaxation facilities including the sun terrace and leisure room provided a perfect retreat, while local landmarks like Crewkerne & District Museum and Lower Severalls Farmhouse offered a delightful insight into the area's charm, fostering family bonding.

The location of the hotel was picturesque, with stunning views of the surrounding fields from the Butterfly Room. The room itself was beautifully decorated with exquisite antique furnishings. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including a tasty gluten-free menu.

The initial confusion upon arrival, as there was difficulty in reaching the hosts directly and having to take a chance by knocking on the door.

The location of the hotel was great, with beautiful gardens to stroll around and enjoy. The breakfast served every morning was absolutely incredible, with personalized options available. The hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome during our stay.

It was inconvenient that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room or a television.

We also loved the delicious cooked breakfast and the fresh berries and yoghurt.

We recently stayed at Old Rectory Somerset and everything was absolutely perfect! The exquisite furnishings and beautiful antiques in the stunning old rectory made for a cosy and relaxing stay. The Butterfly room and bathroom were absolutely fabulous, with a stunning garden view. Caroline and Alan, the lovely welcoming hosts, have impeccable taste and style. The breakfast table was laid beautifully and the full English breakfast, along with catering for gluten-free diets, was delicious. The location in a quiet village, close to the beach and town centre, was ideal. We can't wait to go back and enjoy the lovely experience again!
