our recent stay at the old red lion was even better than our previous visit to bruton. the cosy atmosphere and delicious homemade food made for the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. the friendly staff and spotless rooms added to the relaxed experience. we especially loved the yummy steak and kidney pie and the irresistible vegetarian breakfast. we would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The hotel had beautiful views in all directions. The breakfast provided was perfect, with the best fried eggs we've ever had.

I had an amazing stay at this traditional pub with modern accommodation. The location was so peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside views. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sound of wildlife in the garden. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even provided us with a delicious evening meal despite it being a busy night. The breakfast was out of this world, with a full English spread and a variety of cereals, yogurts, and fruits to choose from. The puzzles and games in the pub added a nice touch of nostalgia. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a perfect getaway experience.

Not only that, but the rooms are incredibly comfortable, with excellent beds and great showers. The service provided by the hosts is top-notch, and the breakfast is simply superb with a wide range of delicious choices. You'll also love the cozy pub with its old-world charm and real fire.

The car park can be a bit difficult to find, but once inside, you'll forget all about it.

Lovely rooms, comfy beds, plenty of space for three people. Welcoming staff, even catered for our 3-year-old. Amazing food, highly recommended. Helpful to have breakfast and restaurant times in the room. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful location with a charming old oakbeamed pub. the bedrooms were peaceful and the furnishings were of high quality. the food was fabulous, with an amazing breakfast and a great dinner menu. the views were brilliant and the lady landlord was very friendly and helpful. the accommodation wing was modern, clean, and quiet. it was a quirky and interesting place to stay, well off the beaten track.

One small thing, a shelf in the shower would have been helpful.
