We travelled from Thorpe Park, a 5-minute drive away, and had a fantastic stay at The Olde Swan. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the room was exceptionally clean and great value for money. They even provided toiletries and towels. The separate access to the pub was a bonus, allowing us to come and go as we pleased. We also appreciated the 11am check-out time. an excellent stay.

the village setting, with its historical building and idyllic atmosphere, was exactly what I was looking for. the room was adorable, just as pictured online, and had all the amenities I needed, including a picnic basket with tea, coffee. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was outstanding. Thank you!

We stayed in a wonderful location close to various food places, including a pub and Joe's cafe down the road for breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. The staff provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. it was a great place to base ourselves for exploring the area.

The shower flow in the bathroom was poor and could have been better.

Enjoyed my Christmas stay! the hotel had a great location and was close to many restaurants and local shops. the room was clean and spacious. the friendly staff was always willing to help, providing plenty of information on nearby attractions. loved the festive decorations in the lobby area and the cozy atmosphere.

The single-glazed windows in the room were a bit of an issue as the noise from outside disturbed me early in the morning, which made it hard to sleep. the shower pressure was also low.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. the attention to detail was fantastic - from the clean rooms with a lovely view to the large sash windows that added character. Secondly, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Lastly, the location was ideal, with the bakery next door and a cafe nearby offering reasonable prices. Plus, having breakfast included was a great bonus.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was absolutely fine.

A hidden gem

My recent stay at a cozy inn tucked away in a charming town was a real find. The ambiance was amazing, with a lively atmosphere and a fantastic mix of music from the 50s to the 80s. The menu was reasonably priced and offered a delicious range of dishes, complemented by a great selection of drinks, including ales. The location was perfect for exploring the area on foot, and the bed in my room was incredibly comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bathtub and a generous supply of tea and coffee. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a nice touch to have my bed changed after just one night. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, overall I will highly recommend this hotel.
