The warm welcome and helpful nature of the owner made our stay at this hotel a delight. the room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well-stocked kitchenette. It was great to have the option of preparing our own breakfast and being able to bring in food to enjoy in our room. the location of the hotel was also perfect, just a short walk from the town center and with easy on-street parking available.

Parking could have been easier.

The room and bathroom are spacious, spotless, and well-appointed, with top-notch furniture and bedding. The service provided by Jude, the owner, is exceptional, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay. The breakfast options are varied, with a delightful assortment of cereals, fruits, yogurt, and a delicious full English breakfast. The little touches like surprise chocolates and fancy toiletries add a special touch to the experience.

There is one downside - the noise level at night can be quite disruptive for light sleepers.

Perky Pike was truly a hidden gem. the host, Jude, went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. the room exceeded our expectations, with a cozy and firm bed, a spacious bathroom, and even complementary gowns. I loved the added touch of a congratulations sign. the in-room facilities, including a mini fridge, were incredibly useful, and the breakfast being brought up to our door was a lovely touch. the B&B also provided access to board games for those rainy days. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the shops, restaurants, pubs, and trails.
