The breakfast at Pier was amazing, with a wide variety of choices. The evening meals were excellent as well. Our room was tastefully furnished and had a well-stocked fridge with drinks. We especially enjoyed the premium range of Novus tea and the luxury Elemis bath products. The staff at Pier were always welcoming and professional, making our stay a delight. The hotel's location near the Principality of Sealand was a major plus. We highly recommend this hotel for your next stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a fantastic experience.

It was all superb.

We had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, right on the harbour side overlooking Ha'penny Pier. We loved being so close to the ferry from Felixstowe, which made exploring the area a breeze. The service here was top-notch, with friendly staff ranging from the cleaner to the manager. The receptionist was particularly helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

We had a fantastic stay at The Pier Hotel in Harwich! The staff were exceptional, the food was delicious, and the room exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location right at the pier was a wonderful touch. Our dogs were treated like royalty, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The view of the harbor from our upper room was enchanting, and the dinner and breakfast were both outstanding. The customer service, from Vicky on reception to the breakfast waitress, was top-notch. a truly memorable experience with attention to detail at every turn.

The location of the hotel is also a standout feature, offering beautiful views of the sea and Harwich's halfpenny pier. The dramatic scenery adds a touch of magic to the stay, creating a memorable experience. Plus, the hotel provides recorded fishing weather forecasts, catering to the interests of outdoor enthusiasts.

The communal rooms could use some improvement and appear unfinished in certain areas.

Amazing Gin flight experience & meal

We had an incredible gin flight experience at Pier At Harwich. Jack, the bartender, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wide selection of gins they offered. We enjoyed a flight of four gins as part of our weekend package, which included a delicious three-course dinner. The value for money was excellent, and we also received breakfast the following morning. The food quality was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. We highly recommend the Ginfest break to everyone. we had an amazing stay and will definitely be back.

We had a perfect night away at a hotel in Harwich. The sunny weather allowed us to explore the area and enjoy lovely walks. The restaurant at the hotel served amazing lamb chops, specially cut to be large and delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the jolly lady at breakfast. Our room was very comfortable, nicely decorated, with a complimentary mini bar and snacks. we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

One minor issue was that there was only one staff member working in the bar at lunchtime, causing a slight delay in our order. Additionally, the sign in the bathroom about being charged for taking the shampoo/shower gel was off-putting.
