Positive aspects of my stay at The Pines Hotel: tastefully decorated room, friendly staff, excellent location, fantastic views, speedy service, delicious meals.

Booked an upgrade to a seaview room - family-sized, spacious, large bathroom, sitting area, and balcony with stunning views. A brilliant hotel run efficiently. Highly recommended.

The hotel had a charming seaside location with beautiful views of the coast. the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant and safe stay during Easter. the room was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony where we could enjoy the countryside views.

The bathroom was a bit cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably.

The views are stunning, staff friendly, good breakfast, ideal location for coastal path. Reception and manager's response to worn mattress complaint were questionable. Manager agreed to a 10% discount upon check-out.

The hotel had excellent views over Swanage Bay and the surrounding countryside. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast selection was comprehensive with freshly cooked options. Customer service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had direct access to the beach, which was great for those with dogs.

The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to the beach from the garden. It's a great place for families with kids, as they can enjoy playing on the beach and even on a bouncy castle. The rooms are comfortable and provide stunning views of the surroundings. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is fabulous, offering a wide variety of delicious options. the hotel provides a pleasant and convenient base for exploring the area.

There were a few disturbances caused by other guests. In one instance, a dog was howling above our room, causing some unpleasantness.

One of the best things about this hotel is its location right on the beach. You can wake up to stunning views of the sea from your bed, and even have a door that opens straight into the hotel's beautiful garden. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon tea or enjoying a drink while taking in the scenery.

All was absolutely fine during my stay.

The location of the hotel is superb, with direct access to a private beach through well-maintained steps. The views from the rooms are stunning, overlooking the bay. The service provided by the staff is friendly and efficient, with the bar and lounge area being well-furnished and inviting. The breakfast menu offers a variety of delicious options, including scrambled eggs with salmon and poached haddock with egg.

The room lacked basic amenities such as soap and a shower cap, which I consider standard. the tap water used to fill the kettle had a horrible taste, making it unpleasant to use.

We were upgraded to a larger room at The Pines, and the stunning sea views were absolutely breathtaking. The private access to the beach was a plus, and we enjoyed the lovely walk to Old Harry Rocks. The a la carte breakfast was amazing, especially the eggs Benedict, and the service provided by Alex was outstanding. Despite some minor drawbacks like a dated bedroom and small bathroom, overall we had a great stay and would happily return to The Pines. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
