We had an amazing experience staying at the Plough. the accommodation was superb, with a separate seating area and two TVs. the room was modern and spotlessly clean, featuring local wood finishes. the bathroom was wonderfully spacious and the bed was very comfortable. the evening meal was excellent with a delicious and interesting menu. the highlight for us was the poached cherries with frangipane, which were absolutely divine. the location was quiet and offered great local walks. It was slightly more expensive, but definitely worth it for the quality.

This place was truly luxurious, providing enhanced comfort and top-notch services. The location, hidden away in the Kent area, was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The newly built bedrooms, or should I say lodges, were simply stunning, with a spacious lounge area and exceptional en-suite facilities. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and the double shower in the en-suite was a nice touch. The hotel also offered room service, which was very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The next morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find breakfast delivered to my room in a hamper. The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon were truly outstanding. With free Wi-Fi in the rooms and soundproofed walls, I enjoyed a relaxing and undisturbed stay.

We were not impressed with the high prices of the drinks and food offered at the hotel. the room service was not prompt, and we had to follow up several times for our requests to be fulfilled.

We loved watching the rain through the skylight. It was the retreat we needed and we can't wait to go back.
