The rooms at this inn are clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of a drink-making facility. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is great for walks and there is a lovely garden at the rear of the pub.

Likes the warm welcome and cup of tea on arrival. the bedroom was clean and comfortable with adequate space. the breakfast in the conservatory was excellent, with fresh fruit and a good choice of cooked food. the dining room staff were attentive and friendly, and the owners were helpful with local information.

The bathroom was a bit small, and the shower kept cutting out. the wifi was only available at the bottom of the stairs in the reception.

Best xmas stay ever! The rooms were nicely decorated and cozy. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The staff was wonderful, always willing to help and very friendly. We loved the festive atmosphere and the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and filled us up for the whole day. One more advantage was the free parking, which was very convenient given the amount of luggage we had. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Christmas stay.

Worst aspect was the limited food options for dinner, it was a bit disappointing as we were expecting a wider variety. Another downside was the size of the rooms, they were a bit smaller than we had expected, but still comfortable. However, these were minor issues compared to the overall experience we had. The warm welcome and helpfulness of the staff made up for everything. All in all, we had a great time and would gladly come back for Christmas next year.

Booked room for a walking trip and wanted a bath afterwards. Friendly owner happily switched our room. Excellent food and well-stocked tea/coffee facilities. Gemma went the extra mile to find us a room last year. Impressed with room standard and recommend the food. Very friendly and efficient staff. Lovely log fires in dining and bar areas.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming pub in a peaceful village near Settle. The staff were incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, and the food was top-notch. We especially loved the large garden at the rear, where we could relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings. Gemma, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this delightful establishment.

On a wet night, we were pleased with the location of the pub we stayed at. It was conveniently close to another pub or place of interest, allowing us to explore the area easily. The restaurant provided a cozy atmosphere, with an open fire adding to the pleasant ambiance. The room we had was clean, comfortable, and modern, and the en-suite bathroom was equipped with a bath and shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The full English breakfast was delicious and satisfying.

The curtains in the room were not of the correct dimensions and had irregularly spaced curtain rings.

As a solo traveler, I really enjoyed the peaceful location of the hotel. It was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
