The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful gardens and the city skyline. We also enjoyed using the swimming pool, which was well-maintained and not overcrowded. our stay at this hotel was excellent and we would highly recommend it to others.

The restaurant has a fantastic menu and a good selection of wines. The pool and leisure facilities are good and not too crowded. a great hotel for a group of friends going out at nights.

Stayed at Principal for our 30th wedding anniversary, great service and thoughtful touches like a 'happy birthday' plate of cakes in the room. Huge, well-appointed room with excellent bathroom. Lovely, helpful staff. Good variety of food for breakfast, with a bonus of a free 'tuck box' of snacks in the room. Great location and convenient on-site parking. Room had a large size and excellent view. On arrival, room wasn't ready but staff took us to the bar and bought us a drink - nice touch.

We enjoyed the complimentary kitkat and croissants at breakfast. the location of the hotel was great, close to all the attractions in the city center. the big bath was a good feature in the room.

The attention to detail was lacking, with empty shampoo and conditioner bottles and not replacing bottled water. Tables were too small in the dining area, and there were missing teaspoons.
