I recently stayed at The Priory Hotel for a weekend getaway. The hotel's unique and quirky decor, combined with its beautiful surroundings and well-maintained gardens, made for a delightful stay. The Spanish and Welsh heritage of the hotel was evident in the selection of Estrella Galicia on tap. The on-site restaurant was outstanding, with a unique food counter experience and delicious options. The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were impressively clean. I can't wait to come back!

The hotel is located in beautiful gardens, making it a picturesque and peaceful setting. It is situated in a town of great historical interest with plenty to explore. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the restaurant, providing easy access to delicious meals. The rooms are comfortable and stylish, with modern amenities and beautiful furnishings. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, with ample hot water. The staff is kind and competent, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free stay. The breakfast is exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. the hotel provides a delightful experience in a charming location.

There were occasional noises from other areas of the hotel that could be heard in the rooms, which may be disruptive for some guests.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location in beautiful grounds was a perfect retreat for me. The staff provided excellent service, from the prompt room service to the efficient housekeeping. The hotel amenities such as the terrace and garden furniture were a lovely addition to my stay. The room itself was comfortable and well-equipped, with ironing facilities and a cozy tea and coffee setup. The television and am/fm alarm clock were a nice touch as well. the hotel provided a luxurious and comfortable experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

We stayed at The Priory for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic time. The friendly reception staff and well-presented rooms made us feel welcome from the start. The courtyard was a beautiful and peaceful spot, perfect for enjoying a coffee or a drink. The ample onsite parking was a great convenience. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the area, and breakfast in the spacious restaurant offered a good variety.

I had a fantastic experience at a hotel in Newport. The restaurant was amazing, with a great selection of food that you could pick yourself. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the overall atmosphere was cosy and well decorated. The location was also very good, with nice grounds surrounding the hotel.

The ambiance and location of our recent stay at The Priory Hotel were truly fantastic. The beautiful grounds and proximity to the historic Roman sites of Caerleon added to the charm of our visit. Our room was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, which extended to the entire hotel building and outdoor area. The bar staff, in particular, were friendly and provided excellent service. Additionally, the counter concept for lunches and dinners was a refreshing change that exceeded our expectations. our five-day stay was truly fabulous.

Although our room was beautiful, we did find that the bed was a bit too close to the bathroom door, causing us to uncomfortably bump our ankles on the bed legs. Additionally, the breakfast, albeit good, did not offer much variety.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been impressed with the luxurious accommodations and quality services provided. The newly refurbished rooms are absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and all the necessary amenities such as tea and coffee facilities and toiletries. The white fluffy towels add a touch of luxury to our stay. The staff at the hotel are wonderful and always ready to assist with any requests or concerns. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which never fails to satisfy our taste buds.

If staying again, we would consider upgrading to a larger room as the courtyard room we stayed in felt a bit stuffy, but this did not detract from the overall positive experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to others for its enhanced comfort, great location near the Roman Museum, and its dedicated and friendly staff.

The food was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and friendly. the complementary drink upon arrival was a nice touch and the central location of the hotel made it easy to get around and explore the area.

The room was quite warm and there was no air conditioning. the room itself was a bit small and cramped with limited space to move around comfortably.
