We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The best aspects were the cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, and the location in a lovely old pub in the middle of nowhere. The breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, even organizing taxis for guests. The delicious breakfast, with its piping hot dishes and variety of cereals, is a definite highlight. The bar boasts a great selection of ales and draft lager, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring.

The car park lacks proper lighting, which may cause some safety concerns during nighttime arrivals.

The bed was cozy, and there was plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. The bathroom was spotless with a nice shower. The highlight was definitely the food - a wonderful choice served with a smile. Breakfast, in particular, was superb, with piping hot options and a variety of cereals. The staff went above and beyond, even organizing a taxi for us. The log fire in the bar was a great bonus too!

My daughter and I had a truly exceptional stay at this hidden gem in a peaceful location. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. The meals served in the pub were superb, with a fantastic breakfast spread. We loved the cozy atmosphere with a roaring log fire during our winter stay. The staff, led by Louise, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The outside garden dining area looked inviting, and we're already planning to come back in the summer. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

I must mention that the showerhead in our room was broken, which affected the water spray. Additionally, there was no bath soak provided, only shower gel, which was not ideal for a relaxing bath.
