We had an incredible stay at a charming village pub. the beautifully decorated room was a luxurious retreat, complete with a rain shower with underfloor heating and fluffy towels. the hearty breakfast and freshly cooked dinner were delicious. the friendly and welcoming staff made the experience even more enjoyable. We can't wait to visit the Red Cow again on our next trip to Duxford, which is conveniently located about 4 1/2 miles away.

The room was absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and high-quality fittings. It had a boutique feel and the vaulted ceiling added a touch of charm. the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. the location was perfect, situated in a quaint village with a peaceful atmosphere. We were able to check in earlier than expected, which was a bonus. the little touches, like having a mini-fridge with water and snacks in the corridor, added to the overall experience.

While the price may have reflected this, we still felt that £143 per night without breakfast was quite steep. due to a local event taking place, we were unable to find alternative accommodations in the area.

Very clean and comfy room with great daily cleaning. Superb bed and quiet location for a good night's sleep. Impressive bathroom with excellent shower options. Friendly staff, especially Amelie and Danni. Ample parking available. Remote village, car required. Good pub/restaurant with tasty food and breakfast. Attentive service for families with kids.

The hotel was in a picturesque location, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The pub had a charming old English style, and the staff were friendly. The room was clean, tidy, and had all the necessary amenities. The bathrooms were modern and luxurious, with walk-in showers and fluffy towels. The breakfast had a good range of options and was delicious. The rooms were spacious and quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay.

The service for drinks was slow due to a large cricket group ordering a lot of drinks and only one staff member on the bar.

Great choice of drinks and good selection of breakfast. the staff was professional, polite, and accommodating. the location was perfect for visiting the nearby city, and the village was lovely to walk around.

The room was cold and uncomfortable, which made us stay in the bar instead of freshening up in the room. the heating wasn't on sooner and at a higher temperature, and the manager's response was a bit disappointing as she blamed the temperature preference on the guests' origin.

The Red Cow in Heydon had everything we needed and more. The rooms were modern, spacious, and very comfortable. The beds were extremely cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathrooms were clean and equipped with fantastic showers. The staff were friendly, helpful, and cheery. We loved the tea, coffee, and cookies provided in the rooms. The hotel had a convenient location, close to the air museum and park and ride into Cambridge. We also appreciated the festive atmosphere with flags and bunting for the jubilee.

our recent stay in heydon was absolutely amazing! red cow totally exceeded our expectations - peaceful surroundings, amazing accommodation, and a 5* experience. the staff went above and beyond to make our weekend great. the breakfast was superb and the room was comfortable and beautifully furnished. we'll definitely be back!

Exceptional. The location, the pretty pub garden, the wonderful accommodation and superb food. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Lots of little extra touches that made it special. A mini fridge with fresh milk and water. Fruit bowl to help yourself to. Decor was so beautiful and everywhere was spotless. Our room was just perfect. The bathroom had one of the best showers I’ve ever used. We requested an early check-in and staff were more than willing to accommodate our request. The little touches in the room were just wonderful including a lovely white company lip balm! So impressed and would definitely come back.

The hotel is conveniently located near Duxford, with a beautiful setting. The breakfast was delicious, and the duty manager, Amelie, went above and beyond to provide an early breakfast for us. The room was quiet and the refreshments well stocked. The little touches like a sewing kit, lip balm, and eye cream added a nice touch. The pillows were nice and firm, ensuring a good night's sleep. I highly recommend The Red Cow.

The charming pub in a peaceful location had plenty of available seating with around 10 tables, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The newly renovated rooms were impeccable, offering a comfortable bed, ample storage space, and a clean bathroom with an excellent shower. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, while the delicious breakfast and high-quality meals in the pub were highly satisfying. The added touch of a mini-fridge with complimentary water and snacks in the corridor was a lovely bonus.

One room had a slight stuffiness and a faint dog smell, while another room struggled to adjust the temperature, remaining cold at 17 degrees.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Cambridgeshire. the value for money was exceptional. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, with exceptional service from the manager and lovely waitress/bartender. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with nice little touches like white company toiletries and a fabulous contemporary bathroom. The breakfast provided was also delicious and comprehensive.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was great and there was nothing that could be improved.
