The room was spacious and comfortable, the cooked breakfast had a great vegan option, and the staff were kind enough to accommodate an early check-in. The hotel also had a large car park, which was convenient. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff who made my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to others.

They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help. the breakfasts were fantastic, with a great selection of food that was well cooked and beautifully presented. They also had great options for vegans and vegetarians on the menu. the room itself was characterful and spacious, with lovely dual aspect windows and all the home comforts needed for a short stay. a wonderful experience!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming pub in a lovely village. The location was perfect, with a footpath opposite the pub leading to beautiful fields for walks. The room was spacious and clean, with a variety of biscuits and hot drinks provided. The staff were attentive and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of produce. It was also near the church where we were attending a funeral.

The noise from the bar in the evenings could be a bit bothersome at times.

Despite being situated overlooking the main road and over the bar area, which unfortunately had no waitress service, the rooms were furnished to a very high standard. The towels were large and fluffy, and toiletries were provided. The breakfast was excellent with loads of choice, and the tea making facilities were of very high quality.

The gluten-free options seemed to have some issues, as there was a case of cross contamination reported by a guest who had coeliac disease.

The hotel was conveniently located near the city center and it was easy to access many places. the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they were always ready to help. the room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. the breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed it every day. the hotel also had a nice pool and gym that we could use.

We asked the staff if they could recommend any places nearby for dinner, but they either didn't know or didn't seem interested in helping us. the heating wasn't working properly in our room, and we had to ask multiple times for it to be fixed.
