The room has a comfortable bed with a foam mattress and a choice of pillows. The ensuite bathroom is clean and modern with a great shower and plenty of hot water. The service is friendly and accommodating, making you feel at home. The breakfast is tasty with a variety of options. The hotel is a great base to access the lakes and go for hikes.

Great location for exploring the lakes and away from the main road. Loved the cozy pub atmosphere and the friendly staff. The homemade pub food was delicious and the portions were generous. The bed was super comfy and the high-pressure shower was fantastic. Free parking and Wi-Fi were also a plus.

Some of the furniture in the pub was a bit old and tatty, but it gave the place character. The range of cereals for breakfast was limited, and more variety would have been nice.

The Red Lion in Lowick Green is perfect for a tourist like me. The rural and quiet location is just what I needed for a relaxing visit. The friendly and helpful staff made me feel right at home. The breakfast, especially the full English, was fantastic and set me up for a day of exploring. Plus, they even had plenty of treats for my dog! A great atmosphere and a lovely spot for accessing the lakes and stunning fell walks.
