I loved the massive bath, super comfy bed, and the friendly staff. The cocktails, croissants, and yoghurt pots were absolutely lush. The room had great fancy coffee, and overall, it was a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend it.

I recently stayed at The Lion and had an amazing experience. The attention to detail and cleanliness really stood out, and the room had a wow factor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bed linen was of high quality. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The pub was very dog friendly, and the locals were friendly as well. The cooked-to-order breakfast was a great touch, and the waitress was accommodating, even when we asked for burnt toast. The property itself was fantastic, with spacious rooms and plenty of storage space. The decor was lovely, and I especially loved the original beams in the corridor. Despite being near a main road, it was surprisingly quiet. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We had a fabulous stay at this charming pub, located just across from the lively karaoke and casino. The spacious room provided a lovely view, and the clean bathroom was a plus. The staff went above and beyond with their excellent service. The breakfast options were great, with a variety of choices, and we especially enjoyed the fruit salad and yoghurts. The pub's atmosphere was fantastic, and we loved the décor. a wonderful experience!

The connecting door between rooms allowed for some noise and light to filter through, which could be improved for a more peaceful stay.

Upon arrival at Lion At, we were immediately greeted with warmth and friendliness by the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we felt very welcomed. The location of the hotel is beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery. The room we stayed in was spacious and well-decorated, with lovely products provided in the bathroom. The breakfast experience was excellent, with a variety of options available and a personal touch in the coffee making. The complimentary treats in the fridge, such as fresh milk and cider, were a delightful surprise. The staff were also very helpful when we needed assistance regarding a lost item. The free and convenient car parking was an added bonus. I had a fantastic stay at Lion At and would highly recommend it.

While our overall experience at Lion At was great, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The shower water could have been warmer, and it would have been helpful to have more storage available in the bedroom for unpacking our bags.

Stayed at a lovely inn in Somerset. the room was great; we had a huge bathroom with a lovely shower and free-standing bath, and a comfortable bed. the breakfast was particularly enjoyable, and we didn't need to eat until much later on in the day. Good value compared to others nearby.

The pub itself was well furnished, but a little loud, so it was not ideal for a relaxed evening. However, this was a small price to pay for everything else on offer.

the room was well, appointed and had exclusive private facilities. the staff was courteous and helpful, and the restaurant served exquisite dishes that satisfied my taste buds. the bar/lounge area was relaxing and soothing, and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. the hotel's location had easy accessibility, adding to its luxurious facilities.

The only negative experience I had was that the service was a bit slow during the check, in process. the staff managed to resolve this minor issue quickly.
