We had one of the best stays during our entire trip in Sri Lanka at this hotel. The location was perfect for us as it was not far from the city center, but still situated in a very calm area, away from the noise. We really appreciated the peacefulness and tranquility of this place. Moreover, the hotel was within walking distance of the few restaurants in town, which made it convenient for us to explore local cuisine. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with spacious and comfortable rooms. We were also impressed by the hotel facilities, especially the small huts where we could relax and enjoy our snacks. The breakfast provided was the best we had in Sri Lanka. It included a generous plate of fresh fruits, toast, and eggs. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to assist us. They even organized transportation for us, whether it was a tuk-tuk or a taxi. our experience at this hotel was fantastic and we highly recommend it.

The staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and accommodating. They provided us with helpful tips on local attractions and even gave us a scarf to enter the temples without any hassle. the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was close to popular tourist spots like the Dambulla Temple and Sigiriya. Additionally, the breakfast provided was incredible, with a wide variety of fresh fruits.

One drawback was that the hotel was a bit far from the city center and tucked away in a slightly dark area. This made it a bit challenging to navigate, especially at night.

The hotel is surrounded by nature, with peacocks roaming around and a variety of birds singing their melodious tunes. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy retreat. The staff, especially Bandara, were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable and hassle-free. I extended my stay because of the relaxing atmosphere and the warm hospitality I received. I highly recommend the New Peacock Resort for a truly memorable experience.
